Delivery Information


At Fireplace World we offer a fast and reliable delivery service to all mainland UK addresses and our delivery services fall into two categories: Day of Choice Delivery and Home Delivery. These two categories are determined by the size and weight of the products. To know which service the product will be delivered with then simply look on the right hand side of the product page above the Add to Basket button. Once the item is in your basket you will be informed of the actually delivery window to your postal code area at checkout.

Delivery Fees & Postal Code Exclusions: To find out if we can deliver to you and the full delivery cost for your order you can use our Shipping Calculator. To find and use this handy tool simply add the product(s) you want to purchase to your basket, then on the next page enter your full post code in to the shipping calculator and click Calculate. You will then be shown if we can deliver to you and the full delivery cost to your area (if applicable) for the product(s) in your basket.

How it works:
Available across the mainland UK on all of our smaller to medium sized products such as our accessories, inset fires and stoves as well as a limited range of part assembled wooden surrounds and suites. Our day of choice delivery is conducted by a 1-man delivery team and you are free to choose any day for delivery Monday to Saturday. Unfortunately we cannot offer this service on a Sunday and/or UK Bank holiday(s).

Cut off point, weekends and UK bank holidays:
To ensure that you receive your order on the day of your choice you must complete and pay for your order in full by no later than 2pm. If your order is complete after this time then your order will be processed and dispatched the next working day - there is no exception to this cut-off point. If your order is placed after 2pm on a Friday or at any point during the weekend your order will be processed and dispatched on the Monday. If your order is placed during a UK bank holiday your order will be processed and dispatched on the following working day.


Delivery Definitions:
  • Doorstep: Your order will only be delivered to the doorstep.
  • Kerbside: Your order will be delivered by the delivery driver(s) to the kerbside (public pathway) only. The driver(s) cannot under any circumstances deliver the product into gardens/properties.

Couriers we use:

DHL Parcel UK (Doorstep):
When your order has been dispatched you will receive a text/email notification of your tracking details from DHL Parcel UK. On the morning of delivery and once your order has been loaded on to the van you will be sent an ETA - 1hr delivery slot and at this point you will have Change It options should you not be available for delivery.

UPS (Doorstep):
When your order has been dispatched UPS will send you a notification of your tracking details. On the morning of delivery and once your order has been loaded on to the van you will be sent a 1-4 hour delivery notification (depending on location) and you will have various Change It options should you not be available for delivery.


XDP (Doorstep):
When your order has been dispatched XDP will send you a notification of your tracking details. On the morning of delivery and once your order has been loaded on to the van you will be sent a 2 hour delivery notification and then a ‘You’re Next’ notification (depending on location) and you will have various Change It options should you not be available for delivery.

Pallet Service (Kerbside):
When your order is ready for dispatch our customer support team will contact you to arrange delivery which can be on any working day (Monday - Friday) that suits you. Our pallet service can only offer an all-day delivery window and your order will be delivered by the delivery driver(s) to the kerbside (public pathway) only. The driver(s) cannot under any circumstances deliver the product into gardens/properties.


  • Please note: If the product ordered is out of stock or is Made to Order at the time of purchase, your order will be dispatched once it becomes available the following working day. You will be kept informed by email of the status of your order or if there are any changes.


Home Delivery:


How it works:
Available on our larger and heavier items such as fully assembled fireplaces and suites, marble fireplaces and suites, media wall fires and packages. Our Home Delivery service is both convenient and professional. Your order will be delivered by expert couriers who will contact you directly via email or text to schedule a suitable delivery date in advance.

Cut off point, weekends and UK bank holidays:
To ensure that your order is processed quickly and efficiently you must complete and pay for your order by no later than 2pm. If your order is placed after this time then your order will be processed the next working day - there is no exception to this cut-off point. If your order is placed after 2pm on a Friday or at any point during the weekend your order will be processed on the Monday. If your order is placed during a UK bank holiday your order will be processed on the following working day.


Delivery Definitions:

  • Room of Choice: Your order will be delivered to the room of your choice as agreed with the driver(s). When using our Room of Choice delivery service and if delivery is to a flat/apartment, office and/or a multi-story building the driver(s) can only guarantee delivery to the ground floor.

Couriers we use:

Domestic Distribution (Room of Choice):
Once your order has been dispatched you will be notified 24-48hrs before delivery via email or text of your 4 hour delivery slot with tracking details. Then 30 minutes before delivery you will receive a pre-call to let you know that the driver(s) are on their way to you.


DX Delivery (Room of Choice): 
Once your order has been dispatched you will be notified within 24hrs via email or text of your delivery date with tracking details. If the proposed delivery date is not suitable, options to reschedule are provided within the email or text.
 
FUD Service (Doorstep):
When your order is ready for dispatch you will receive an email to advise you of your delivery date which will be on any working day (Monday - Friday). Our FUD service can only offer a doorstep delivery service which will be on an all-day delivery window between 7am - 7pm. However you will receive a pre-call to let you know that the driver(s) are on their way to you 30 minutes before delivery.
 
Pallet Service (Kerbside):
When your order is ready for dispatch our customer support team will contact you to arrange delivery which can be on any working day (Monday - Friday) that suits you. Our pallet service can only offer an all-day delivery window and your order will be delivered by the delivery driver(s) to the kerbside (public pathway) only. The driver(s) cannot under any circumstances deliver the product into gardens/properties.
 
Please note that our pallet service is only applicable to products where it is clearly states: Kerbside Service on the product page, we cannot offer this service on any other product.
